Notus is an ocean technology company based in St. John's, NL, supplying net monitoring products to the commercial fishing industry worldwide. What started as a logo project in 2017 — through a referral from a mutual contact — has grown into one of my longest and most varied creative partnerships. Over the years, I've worked across nearly every touchpoint of their brand: from print and trade shows to video production and digital marketing.

The logo needed to feel credible and modern — a company operating in a rugged industry, but with serious technology behind it. We developed a mark that balances precision with approachability, along with a flexible colour system that works across print, digital, and large-format applications.

From full-page magazine ads in international fishing industry publications to trade show booths in Aberdeen and Ireland, the visual identity has been consistently applied across a wide range of print materials — always adapted to context without losing coherence.

As the relationship grew, video became a natural next step. I've produced several videos for Notus —
including a headquarters construction overview, a product explainer for the ECHO system, and a technical demonstration video.
Each one is designed to communicate clearly to their industry audience, without overproducing it.
